November- 2017 Challenge: Robo Wrestling Challenge by IncrediMinds  
 
 
Invitations are open to all the school students of Gurgaon.                                                         
 
Age Group: 8 years and above
Date: 26 November 2017
Time: 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM
Place: D- 48, Nirvana Country, Sector 49, Gurgaon
Fee: Rs.1000 per student
 
Objective: To build a strongest Sumo bot capable of Attacking/Defencing/ fighting and winning in the ring.
 
Task and Objective:-
  • Robot Building by keeping the safety of the Motors, sensors and other components in minds
  • Programming the Robot as object follower
  • Robot should Wrestle with in the given Boundaries
  • Robot which is able to push the other robot outside the ring will be adjudged as winner.
Rules and Regulation:-
  • Arena will have black boundaries
  • The Dimensions of the Arena are specified before hand.
  • No External Power Supply will be permissible.
  • Only 1 attempt per team.
  • Two teams will compete at a time.
  • Selected teams will qualify to the next round.
  • Participants are not allowed to touch the machine or the Arena during the task.

Competition framework:-
  • League Matches:- All teams have to first compete at the League level.
  • Quarter Finals:-All quarter finalists will be competing with each other and the eligible 8 teams will qualify to the Semi finals.
  • Semi Finals:- Judges will be selecting the 4 teams at this stage to compete in the Grand Finale.
  • Grand Finale:- Top 3 Teams will be selected at winner for the IncrediMinds Robo Wrestling challenge November 2017.

Team Specification:-
  • Max Team size is 5 per Team.
  • Participating team should have their own Robotic Kit.
Kit:-
  • Students having Lego EV3 or NXT would be able to participate.
  • IncrediMinds can provide kit to a team of 5 Students in-case of no kit
 
Terms and condition of the competition:-
  • During the game, team members are not allowed to touch the Robot, failure in doing so can lead to Disqualification.
  • Robots should be build from Lego Ev3/NXT kit, any innovation and creativity within the limits help gaining the extra points.
  • 9v-12V battery should be used for powering up the Bot.
  • The Bot will be first checked for size and safety.
  • Judges decision will be the final in any case.
  • Judges hold the right to disqualify a team whose conduct is found unfair.
Any changes in the rules regulation will be updated on the website.
